Hello to everyone,
After a lot of deliberation I have decided to start a transformation diary as a means of motivation and a way to communicate with others who are in the same boat as me.
Well here goes, my name is Michelle and I am 29years old. I have had a keen interest in the gym for the past few years, concentrating more on Aerobic classes and cardio.
It wasn't until a couple of years ago that I started doing a bit of weight training which soon grew into a passion. I found that I really enjoyed the feeling of being strong and fit. I also liked the muscles that started to appear.
Like anything I started to read weight training books, bought magazines, watched dvd's and even started to attend body building comps. It soon occurred to me that I would like to have a goal and something to strive for, but I new I needed help with the diet to start off with.
I started seeing Arina in May 2005 where she put me on the path of clean eating and lots of supplements. I have struggled at times, but I am starting to understand the reasons to the diet.
If I manage to drum up the confidence I may even post a picture of myself.
Well, thats all from me for now.

Feeling good this week. Have had great training sessions.
I am feeling really positive for next weeks training sessions and new diet.
I am making small goals to try and reach my ultimate goal of competing. My first small goal is to build more muscle on my back and train and start to create the sort after 'V' shape. |

Thanks Arina for that sexy side shot. That was very sweet of you to post that.
Had a great chest work out this morning. After lunch I will be ready to hit the tennis courts for some cardio. Don't you just love the weekend!
Steve, thanks for your encouraging words.
Angus, I will post some pics when I am in better shape. |

Been training hard this week, keep thinking of my goals and where I want to be next year with my body. Really starting to understand the concept of not doing too much cardio and really getting into my weight training.
I love the diet I am on at the moment, even though I feel hungry a night time, I am learning to occupy myself in other ways, like looking at arina's site. |

Felt great today. Drank a lot of water, which stops some of the hunger pains. At the moment I am taking each day as it comes. I know that I have a long way to go with both my diet and weight training.
I have realised that its best to focus on each day, not look too far into the future and scare myself with how much I still have to work on.
Today my diet was great, plus I felt really good when I got to the gym tonight which helped me stay focused.
Looking forward to another great day tomorrow! |

Good to hear you are in high spirits Michelle. Keep up the training and the dieting......go NUTS on your free meal - when you start comp diet you will miss it!!! Keep your attitude of every day as it comes.......but try to visualise how you want to look on comp day - i did this and it kept me going - especially on when i was having a bad day.
SO - Totally enjoy your off-season food and training, you have a great experience ahead of you!!!
Hope to See you on Sunday !!
